Learn how to make healthy compost following Natural Agriculture principles. Rodale Institute staff will also explain how the synergy of the three spiritual elements of fire, water and the earth work with the consciousness within plants to produce flavorful and nutritious food.
Making compost at home is easy and uses general materials from your backyard–leaves, grass clippings and spent garden debris. Learn how compost produces biology that enhances the health and quality of your garden soil.
We will show you how to take a more holistic view of plants, soil and the microorganisms that cycle nutrients to grow healthy plants. Participants will also learn the proper way to make and use compost to get the most out of their Natural Agriculture garden.
