Food Revolution: Farm Aid 2007 Part 1

Farm Aid 2007
A Homegrown Festival

Farm Aid 2007: A Homegrown Festival chose New York City to showcase its feat of bringing 100-percent local, organic, humanely raised and family-farm generated food for its concessions.

Christine Quinn, speaker of the New York City Council, is working to bring local and organic food into the city to combat obesity and improve food access everywhere. She challenged other cities struggling with the economics and logistics of the task by saying, “If we can do it here, you can do it anywhere.”
