RI Annual Field Day

This field day will feature soil building and weed management lessons learned from our newest organic systems trial, as well as several other ongoing experiments and demonstrations. The featured project includes an on site field trial, as well as replications on 6 research stations and 7 farms from Pennsylvania to North Dakota. Rodale’s research team and invited speakers will share progress towards cropping system research goals, which include: reducing reliance on purchased inputs, maximizing living soil cover, minimizing erosion, and improving soil ecology and biological processes to optimize yield stability and reduce environmental and economic costs.
