Communications and Outreach Intern

Rodale Institute is seeking an intern to assist with event planning and with the communications department. The applicant should have a strong interest in writing, journalism, media relations and ideally be web and computer saavy. Interest or knowledge in organic agriculture, healthy living, environmental and/or agricultural policy, or science a plus, but not required.

Tasks can include writing for our website, assisting with in-house publications, coordinating logistic, assisting with publicity for events, workshops, fundraising dinners and festivals, plus general administrative tasks. We are a small staff, so this is a great opportunity to get real hands-on experience.

School credit only. Hours are flexible, though must be on site about 8-10 hours per week.

Apply by Jan 15th for SPRING term (February-May).

Apply by August 15th for FALL term (September-December).
