Spanish government promotes organic farming manual

The Spanish Ministry for Environment has released a manual designed to educate consumers on the methods and purpose of organic agriculture.  The book, titled “Know More About Organic Agriculture and Live It”, outlines organic labeling, the principles behind organic farming, and its positive impact on the environment.

So far, 25,000 copies have been printed and distributed to eight Consumer Associations in hopes that they will reach a broad, diverse audience.
