Iowa local food system workshop draws record crowd

A sizable crowd of over 250 people from six states turned out to attend the Marketing and Food Systems Initiative, hosted by the Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture in Ames, Iowa. Attendees were interested in learning more about results of the Center’s research projects, tools for small farmers and the ins and outs of developing a more sustainable food system.
