Science panel agrees on specific organic nutritional advantages
A panel of scientists at a 2009 symposium for the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) declared their belief that organic foods mean better nutritional quality and better soil quality where the crops grow. The form in which nitrogen is supplied to crops does matter to the nutritional profile of the food, they said, and synthetic nitrogen can actually dilute other nutrients present in the final product.
