Farm Aid 2008 opened in traditional style with a press conference to give media representatives a barrage of food-and-farming sound bites from the performing artists, regional farmers and other prominent supporters of the “good food movement.” Watching the proceedings here is Bob Scowcroft, executive director of the Organic Farming Research Foundation, one of three national partners (with Rodale Institute and NCAT’s ATTRA program) of Farm Aid’s Farmer Resource Network, introduced at the concert.
