Virginia country store jumps on the locavore bandwagon

Juliet McKay-Smith, owner of the Locke Modern Country Store in Clarke County, Virginia redefined the idea of "modern" in her small town of Millwood. McKay Smith merged her culinary and agricultural interests with her love of local flavor to become the "linchpin of a hyper-local network of sustainable food producers." The store, a combination coffee bar, wine shop, bakery, deli, and grocery store, sells locally-produced, homemade food and affordable wine.
