The psychology of eco-responsibility
People’s attitudes about the environment and their own ecological footprint are influenced by a multitude of factors, mostly stemming from their social environment and who they see modeling or affirming responsible, earth-friendly behavior. Constructive criticism for non-believers can have some unexpected consequences, psychologists find, as can including multiple points of view in an expert debate about climate change.
