SLIDESHOW: New farming strategy for the 21 Century, Part 2

Rodale Institute’s 2008 field day featured the Institute’s roller-crimper and the no-till organic planting system that it allows. This is the second of two slideshows linked to reports of the day’s interactive information sessions. Part 1 featured the interactive Jigsaw process.

In the few cool moments of the day, visitors gathered in the Rodale Institute Red Barn, where posters from of the Institute’s “Farmers Can Be Heroes” campaign decorated the hayloft walls. The campaign highlights the benefits of transitioning to certified organic farming.
