Home Depot helps consumers switch to CFLs

Home Depot has come out with new compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs that contain half the mercury of other bulbs and can be recycled at of the big-box store’s locations. In addition to the recycling program, Home Depot is also changing its own light bulbs and encouraging homeowners to do the same thus saving money and greenhouse gas emissions.
