Ocean level, temperature rising at higher than expected rates

An international team of researchers reports the rise in ocean temperatures and the subsequent rise in sea levels were 50 percent higher than the levels estimated in 2007. The scientists used different models to simulate climate change outcomes. Collected data and the models both indicate “that recent warming is greatest in the upper ocean” where expansion rates exceed the additional 50 percent temperature increase. Full story: Science Daily
