New Zealand attempting to reduce emissions from livestock

New Zealand has pledged to become a carbon neutral country, but its livestock are emitting enough methane to make a significant contribution to global climate change. Farmers feel that the proposed rule to make them pay what amounts to a flatulence tax her head of cattle is unfair.
