Hospitals promise healthier food

Hospitals and other healthcare facilities in the San Francisco Bay area are turning to local, sustainable food sources, joining more than 100 hospitals nationwide that have signed the “Healthy Foods in Healthcare Pledge.” These facilities are buying hormone-free milk, local produce and sustainably grown seafood.
