Ever-green investing

Al Gore and Generation Investment Management raised $683 million for a new Climate Solutions Fund. The fund will invest in early stage environmental companies and follows on the development of the Global Equity Strategy Fund which invested in sustainable businesses. David Blood, manager of the funds, says their ability to raise such a large chunk in a "difficult environment" indicates green investing can be evergreen. Full story
