Organic grain farmer and miller Lynn Clarkson takes on U.S. corn ethanol subsidies and blames domestic energy policy for distorting food prices worldwide. Clarkson says one backlash of encouraging the unsustainable production of corn for fuel is that it’s just too easy for farmers to make a buck in the current market than to consider switching to organic production.
