UK prime minister calls for GM crops to fight world hunger

UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown has called for the use of genetically modified crops to help meet the world’s food shortage. Rising fuel and food costs are causing head programs to have to cut back and leading to rioting around the globe. Brown has been criticized for supporting biofuel production, which often relies on feed stocks that could be feeding people instead of cars.  Full story
